Mark was wonderful to work with! When purchasing our first home, my boyfriend and I were pretty clueless and unaware of what to expect/look for starting this process. Mark assisted us in everything from showing us homes, giving us detailed information on all homes he found for us as well as the ones we found on our own, he helped us find people to assist us with the financial side of things as well which was huge! As first time home buyers we didn't even know what price range to look in, once we connected with Mark, he was able to quickly point us in the right direction of the right people to be talking to who could assist us with every part of the process. He is extremely responsive and always happy to answer questions! He made the process much less stressful, we would recommend him to anyone!

Mark grew up in Rochelle, Illinois (the “Hub City”), just two hours south of Madison, Wisconsin. As a child, he enjoyed weekends in Wisconsin at his family’s lake cottage on Petenwell Lake in Nekoosa and always knew that if he ended up settling down the Midwest, he desired to live in Wisconsin. Mark graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Education, got married, and immediately started working with at-risk youth in the Chicago area with his wife, Rebekah. They continued working together in direct care for children for over 10 years at children’s homes in North & South Carolina before committing a family move back to the Midwest.
Mark has been working in real estate world for nine years, first as an investor, before getting his license in Wisconsin. He is a 3rd generation realtor in his family as his dad, uncle, and grandfather all worked in real estate at some point in their professional careers — coining the family business motto, “Let Hewitt Do It!”
He’s helped over sixty families and individuals reach their real estate goals over the past three years in the Madison area and he is excited to be a part of such a client-centered team at Husky Homes. His business is based on a foundation of committing to his community and developing positive relationships with his clients!
Mark and his wife have 4 children: Denison, Luke, Roger, and Beatrix and have lived in Verona, WI, for the past 5 years. Mark is an active member in the Verona community serving on the Board of Directors for the Verona Area Chamber of Commerce. He also sponsors local Verona Little League teams and enjoys coaching his kids in the sports they happen to be into all year round.
