Have you spent a fall day in Stoughton? There's so much to do, see and enjoy.

Make it a whole day trip starting with breakfast and stay into the evening for a show!

Here's my perfect fall day itinerary for a trip to Stoughton! 

1. Start your day with a maple latte and carrot cake scone at Wildwood Cafe. Their fall menu features a Monster Mash Hash and Ghost Toast, an avo toast with spicy chili oil perfect for a longer stay.

2. Take your latte to go and head down Main Street to shop for gourd and pumpkin candles at Dune, Halloween dog toys at The Crazy Dog Mom shop, a cozy fall sweatshirt at Grasshopper Goods and a sweet treat at Yahara Chocolate.

3. Head just outside of town to Viking County Park for a hike along the Yahara River and a jaunt through Viking Dog Park with the pup.

4. Stop at the Koffee Kup, a Stoughton institution for a lunch with classic diner fare.

6. Pick pumpkins and apples at Eugster's just west of town on 138. Shop in their farm shop for more local delicacies and visit the petting farm to see all the animals at play.

7. Head back into town for cocktails at Argo with live music on the weekends and dinner at Wendigo for their classic Burger, Kale Caesar salad or featured dishes like the Cornmeal Catfish or Chicken-Fried Boudin.

8. End the day with a concert at the Stoughton Opera House, play at Stoughton Village Player's Theatre or dessert at Dairyland Dessert Cafe!
