Buying and selling a home simultaneously takes coordination, communication and above all else, collaboration. I have known Mike and Hayley for over 7 years and am honored that they trusted me to help navigate this process. They had looked at multiple existing homes and ultimately decided to build new. They met with multiple builders yet decided on Veridian Homes who they had worked with on their previous home. This time, they chose to fully own the process, choosing a lot, home plan, making upgrades inside and out and even deciding to delay some items until move in. The team at Veridian made the process smooth and stress free. We walked multiple lots and ultimately decided on their new, nearly half acre lot in Deforest.

If education is the silver bullet to level the playing fields, fundraising is the grip to ensure a true shot. Community financial investment has grabbed headlines of late under the guise of Name Image and Likeness (NIL) or collectives at major institutions of higher education. On a local level, there is still a need to raise funds for scholarships, experiential learning and to fund one off classroom activities. The Johnson Creek Education Foundation (JCEF) was founded in 1998 with an explicit goal of supporting and enriching the educational opportunities available to Johnson Creek Students. I have served on the board since January, 2024 and am blown away by the impact the foundation has on the school and therefore, community.  We have an upcoming…
