We are sending our love and best wishes to all of you this holiday season. We know things are different and that 2020 has been challenging in so many different ways, so please from the bottom of our hearts, do not hesitate to reach out if we can do anything to help support you, your family and/or your business this year.
For the last month of this tumultuous year, the Husky Homes team is doubling down on our community and small business support. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to help so many families in 2020 with their real estate goals, and we are partnering with more local businesses than ever before, finding new & creative ways to give back and help those in our community.
Interest rates remain at record lows, though we are seeing the typical Wisconsin market seasonality with a decreasing number of new and total listings available. Inventory remains tight for purchasers, and yet these buyers that are still looking remain competitive and motivated to get under contract before the projected 2021 spring market surge hits. Prices continue to increase in most price points due to decreasing supply and steady demand; purchasers are smart to take advantage of the rapidly growing equity positions that are possible with home ownership.
2021 looks to be an exceptionally strong year for real estate - the Chief Economist for the National Association of Realtors has projected a 24% year-over-year increase in sales for 2021, compared to a 9% year-over-year increase from 2019 to 2020! With a vaccine (hopefully) on the horizon and the economy continuing to be rebuilt, we are exciting for the potential of next year and opportunities for all. What remains true is that homes that are presented well and that are clean, organized and staged to sell, when priced right, will see quick, serious, high volume showing activity and plenty of competition.
We take our jobs very seriously here at Husky Homes, and it means the world to us to have you and your referrals trust us with your home buying and/or selling journeys. We thank you, all, for your love, support and referrals.
