Buying and selling a home simultaneously takes coordination, communication and above all else, collaboration. I have known Mike and Hayley for over 7 years and am honored that they trusted me to help navigate this process. They had looked at multiple existing homes and ultimately decided to build new. They met with multiple builders yet decided on Veridian Homes who they had worked with on their previous home. This time, they chose to fully own the process, choosing a lot, home plan, making upgrades inside and out and even deciding to delay some items until move in. The team at Veridian made the process smooth and stress free. We walked multiple lots and ultimately decided on their new, nearly half acre lot in Deforest.
Their new home combines the work from home opportunities they both have along with their need for separate spaces in the lower and main levels. What started with decisions about dirt and drive time, turned in fixtures and finishes. A beautiful composite deck overlooking undisturbed nature, along with unfinished space in the lower level allowed them to feel completely at home. Mike and Hayley now have a home that fits their needs and will allow for them to share it with friends, family and a new fluffy fido in the not so distant future.
A huge thank you to our lender partner Joe Long and his team at Guild Mortgage in navigating the timing and loan terms for a new build/home sale. An additional thank you to Nick DiMaria and the entire team at Veridian for ensuring we didn't have to delay closing or adjust timelines due to construction delays. A final thank you to Karen Lanser at Heroes for Heroes for assisting in securing funding and placement of a fully trained service dog to add to the family!
