We focus on decorating our homes with festive colors, hanging stockings, garlands and gnomes, lots of gnomes. But lighting can be an amazing way to spruce up our living spaces. The simple addition of string lights, flickering battery operated candles and of course the Christmas Tree brings a great deal of warmth to your spaces. And while untangling the mess of lights from last year can be a challenge, the finished product is well worth it.
In addition to livening up your home, lighting also adds a layer of security. We are gone from our homes more around the holidays attending family gatherings, children's concerts, school sporting events and work parties. Having a few extra lights on around your home can illuminate dark corners and provide a slight deterrence to any nefarious activities by a few elves.
You don't have to be a professional to provide your home with an extra layer of cheer this holiday season. Don't stress if your lights hang a little loose, tree is slightly off center or even if you burn a few cookies. Add a little more frosting and your holiday will still be merry,
