Velkommen til Mount Horeb! This Dane County town is full of Norwegian heritage (which you know immediately heading into the historic downtown with it's welcoming Troll Parkway)! There are many hidden treasures (and Trolls) throughout Mount Horeb, including casual cafes, gourmet restaurants, delightful bakeries, a world-class brewpub, award-winning wineries, and scenic bike trails. Located 20 miles southwest of Madison encompassing a total area of 3.25 miles.

We have several lovely clients in this charming town where the housing is diverse and the location is in perfect proximity to Epic Systems and Verona. New construction is booming North and South of town with single family homes, duplexes and a new 55+ community.

Mount Horeb is also known for it's beautiful Victorian homes around Main Street with colorful accents and detailed porches, windows and facades.

There is so much to do in and around Mount Horeb, it's no wonder that it's growing. The headquarters of Duluth Trading Company, there is a sprawling department store on the west end of Main Street carrying everything you need for work and play. There are wonderful restaurants downtown including The Grumpy Troll Brew Pub, Sunn Cafe, Skal Public House and Sjolinds - local maker of delicious chocolate.

Mount Horeb has it's own outdoor public pool - Mount Horeb Family Aquatic Center - just a few blocks north of Main Street, and for recreaters, after stocking up at Duluth Trading, head up to Stewart Lake County Park, also just a few blocks north of town, for hiking trails, picnicking and fishing.

You could spend an entire day exploring Mount Horeb, or use it as a great launching point to explore the State's Driftless area to the southwest. It's the best of both worlds - easy access to Madison, but with a small town vibe all it's own on the edge of one of Wisconsin's great natural areas.
